Natural & Cultural Significance
In 2015, the NLC received its second land donation from the Sandwich Conservation Trust. This heartfelt and unprompted gesture demonstrated SCT’s support of the NLC’s mission. The NLC and SCT continue to collaborate on conservation projects in Sandwich. The Wakeby Preserve is comprised of holly and locust woodlands. The Preserve overlooks Wakeby Pond with frontage to Cotuit Road.
